In this 3.5 hour workshop you'll learn beginner weaving techniques from setting up and warping your loom, various stitches and knots. This will be a small intimate workshop of 8 people.
The workshop will run from 10am - 1.30pm at Fika & Co on Pako. 14 Pakington St. Geelong West. You will also receive a drink along with morning tea.
It's very rare that you would finish your first piece in the class so the cost of the workshop includes your take home kit. Plus wool to finish off your first project.

In the class you will be shown how to setup and warp your loom, various weaving techniques including tabby stitch, rya knots & soumak stitch, finishing off your weaving and hanging your weave. You will also be give detailed instructions and ongoing help after the workshop. All wool will be included on the day with wool to be taken home to complete your first weave.
On the day just bring along yourself and enjoy the relaxation that Weaving brings.
